Valentine Garland

I love paint chips!
They are free and pretty.

I collected a bunch in shades of pink and red.
I cut them apart and cut the words off.

Using my Cricut, I cut a bunch of hearts.

I glued hearts back to back with thread between them to create heart garland

Mine hearts are pretty tiny, but you could make them bigger if you wanted.

  4. Kayla: I have no idea. Somebody else sent me a message saying that it wouldn't load. I can see it, but everyone else is having problems. Did you try clicking on it from the side bar? Let me double check some things and I'll see if I can get it fixed. Let me know if it still doesn't work. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for letting me know.

  6. It is still amazes me every day when I read various blogs. I cannot create a thing and so many of you do it very well. You can take anything and make something of it. You did an excellent job on these little hearts.

  7. I love the name of your blog! I think this is the second craft I've seen using paint chips, so I guess I better go get some before they decide they stop giving them away for free. Your garland is very cute, and I love that it didn't cost a cent!
    Happy REDnesday!

  8. I'm also a middle school teacher. Is this something you did (or plan to do) with your students?

    A DAMSEL WHO LOVED SHADES OF RED

    A damsel who loved shades of red
    Discovered she’d been sore misled;
    She had no more rose,
    Nor blush for her nose—
    If she finds the thief, the guy’s dead!
