Scrapbook Drawer Score!

I scored this awesome drawer for my scrapbook/craft room.
It has a drawer full of dividers!
Eventually, I will have a wall of these little organizational beauties.
There are all different kinds that this company makes, and they are are functional and amazing.

The only downfall, is that these are really expensive.  While I was at Michael's digging through 90% off Christmas stuff, I saw this.  It was originally $29.99, but marked down to $7.50.
It was marked "Sold as Is" which is sometimes a deal breaker.

I took it up to the register and asked the cashier if she knew what was wrong with it.  She showed me the defective piece.  Just a little flaw/break thing on the INSIDE of the drawer.
Meaning you can't see it, when the drawer is closed.
And, its pretty far back on the side, so it really pretty unnoticeable.  I bet a little glue, vice and some white paint, would make it disappear!
Score!

I plan to get it fixed up and all filled up.  I'll share my use for it soon :)
I love good, cheap finds!

i heart cheap pillows!

I'm in the process of redecorating my room.  My bedding is silver and my walls are purple.  That is about as far as I have gotten.

I have had my eye on these pillows for quite some time.  They are from Bed, Bath, and Beyond and are priced at $19.99.

I love pillows and I knew I wanted 3 of them, but that would be about $60... and I am WAY to cheap for that nonsense.

So, I waited patiently.
On one of my many trips to BB&B, I noticed they were marked down to $9.99!
Ok, now we are getting somewhere, but I still held out.

On my last trip to town, I went by to visit my little pillows in hopes of a smaller price.
The gates of heaven opened and I see this little beauty of a sticker.
75% off the LOWEST ticketed price!!!

So, I did a little happy dance in the store and put three of them in my shopping cart.
I was ecstatic, I'm thinking that I was about to get 3 pillows for $2.50 each.
That's $60 worth of awesomeness for $7.50!!

I marched my happy little buns up to the register and God smiled upon me!!!
When the nice lady rung them up, they were actually $1.50!!!!!!

Are you getting this?!?!
I bought $60.00 worth of pillows for less than $5.00!!!!
Okay, maybe I'm a little too excited about this...

I hit the jackpot while shopping yesterday.

The Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual Sale began!  Score!

The Bath and Body Semi-Annual Sale was still going on.  I found lots of things for 75% off.

Bed, Bath and Beyond has all their Christmas stuff 75% off.  They also have lots of things throughout the store that are 50% off.

The small Toys 'R Us in the mall had certain toys marked down 70%.  I now have tons of presents for my little cousins, my niece, and my boyfriends nephew.

And of course all the Christmas stuff at Hobby Lobby was 80% off.  In the past, they haven't had much of a selection when I went after Christmas.  However, this year they had tons of stuff including trees, ornaments, wrapping paper, boxes, ribbon, bows, decor, etc.

Flip-Flops in December

Flip-flops in December?  Yeah, that's not a misprint.  I live in Kansas, we get cold temps, ice, snow, and all that crap.  However, I have found the best time to buy flip-flops.

I wear size 11.  Yeah, I have huge feet, I know.  It's always so hard to find cute flip-flops in such a big size.  The kicker is that I am cheap, really cheap.

I recently graduated college and while I was in college I could get by with the Old Navy flip-flops that are 2 for $5.00.  Here is the container that slides under by bed to hold my stock-pile of flip-flops.

Since college graduation, I figured that these wouldn't really work for me except for days at the pool or to slip on to run errands in the summer.

I was shopping at Kohl's, just doing some Christmas Shopping.  I spotted some flip-flops and headed over hoping they would have something in my size.

Flip-flops in December in Kansas = big clearance mark down!!!!

I was needing dressier flip-flops, perhaps even able to wear them to school in the spring.  I found them!!  Better yet, they were really cheap and I had an ADDITIONAL 30% off my purchase at Kohl's!

I got rid of my old flip-flops that I won't be wearing anymore.

I put my new, dressier flip-flops in my container to be slid under my bed.  Not as colorful as before, but more grown up and more places to wear them.

Even though I won't be wearing these for quite some time, they will be ready for spring!
