Flip-Flops in December

Flip-flops in December?  Yeah, that's not a misprint.  I live in Kansas, we get cold temps, ice, snow, and all that crap.  However, I have found the best time to buy flip-flops.

I wear size 11.  Yeah, I have huge feet, I know.  It's always so hard to find cute flip-flops in such a big size.  The kicker is that I am cheap, really cheap.

I recently graduated college and while I was in college I could get by with the Old Navy flip-flops that are 2 for $5.00.  Here is the container that slides under by bed to hold my stock-pile of flip-flops.

Since college graduation, I figured that these wouldn't really work for me except for days at the pool or to slip on to run errands in the summer.

I was shopping at Kohl's, just doing some Christmas Shopping.  I spotted some flip-flops and headed over hoping they would have something in my size.

I was needing dressier flip-flops, perhaps even able to wear them to school in the spring.  I found them!!  Better yet, they were really cheap and I had an ADDITIONAL 30% off my purchase at Kohl's!

I got rid of my old flip-flops that I won't be wearing anymore.

I put my new, dressier flip-flops in my container to be slid under my bed.  Not as colorful as before, but more grown up and more places to wear them.

Even though I won't be wearing these for quite some time, they will be ready for spring!
